Wood - it’s part of tennis again

The partnership between Wood Tennis Club and England’s legendary Grays of Cambridge, the world’s oldest racket-maker, has returned new, traditional championship-quality wood rackets to the game of tennis.

Over the last seven years we have sold hundreds of our beautiful hand-crafted rackets to enthusiasts in more than 20 countries, and the future promises to be even bigger.

Our mission is to make wood part of tennis again - to enhance and enrich the sport we love.

Whether it’s the pure nostalgia, or feeling that wood rackets return something to tennis that’s been lost, or the authenticity of wood, or the sustainability of wood - or another reason – many discerning tennis enthusiasts today are buying a new all-wood Grays of Cambridge tennis racket.
