Wood - it’s part of tennis again

The partnership between Wood Tennis Club and the world’s oldest racket-maker, England’s legendary Grays of Cambridge, has returned traditional championship-quality wood rackets to the game of tennis.

Over the last seven years we have sold hundreds of our beautiful, new hand-crafted rackets to enthusiasts in more than 20 countries, and the future promises to be even bigger and better.

Our mission? It’s to make wood part of tennis again - to enhance and enrich the sport we love.

Whether it’s the pure nostalgia, or feeling that wood rackets return something to tennis that’s been lost, or the sustainability of wood - or another reason – there are many reasons why many discerning tennis enthusiasts today are buying a new all-wood racket made by Grays of Cambridge.
