The Masterpiece

This model is the successor to our history-making limited edition 2019 launch model – the first new all-wood lawn tennis racket commercially released anywhere in the world since the 1980’s. It’s a tribute to Grays’ 1908 model of the same name (see an image in About Wood Tennis Club). Since 2019 the model has been refreshed but still sports the company’s signature black and gold.

Light-Medium: 340g ± 5g Medium: 345g ± 5g These are target weight ranges. Weights will vary a little due to properties of individual batches of timbers and other factors.

GRIP SIZES

(2) 4 ¼” (3) 4 ⅜” (4) 4 ½” (5) 4 5/8” Note: (4) and (5) are available only in Medium weight.

GRIP HEIGHTS

On ‘The Masterpiece’ two grip heights are available - 6” and 7”

INITIALS

On ‘The Masterpiece’, purchasers can have initials (up to 3) applied to the frame during manufacture. (See photo this page)
